Fay grew up in Bega leaving at the end of secondary school to study in Armidale and later Sydney. She holds graduate and postgraduate qualifications in Behavioural Science, Town and Regional Planning and Business Administration.
Over the past 30 years, Fay has held several executive management roles in the private sector, NSW government and several Sydney Metropolitan local councils working in business development, land use planning, community development and natural resource management.
Following retirement, Fay returned to the Bega District where she remains active supporting her local community as Chair of Local Land Services Southeast Region, Director of Regional Development Australia Southern Inland Region and as a member of Bega Rotary. She’s a keen cyclist and beekeeper.
Fay joined the Tulgeen Board in Jan 2023 & is Chair of Tulgeen’s Quality & Safeguarding Committee.
