Alice Howe

Alice moved to the Bega Valley in 2019 to work as Director Community, Environment and Planning, where she was responsible for Council’s access and inclusion program, among other things. During that time, Alice formed a deep connection to the local area and its diverse communities.  

Alice holds a PhD in environmental engineering and degrees in engineering and natural resource management. Alice is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of Engineers Australia. Alice’s professional experience spans the private, public, academic and not for profit sectors, with a strong focus on working with local communities to achieve their aspirations.

At present, Alice is Director Environment and Planning at Central Coast Council.

Alice joined the Board in July 2022 and is a member of Tulgeen’s Quality & Safeguarding Committee and the People, Culture & Community Committee.
