Support Worker (Disability)
Permanent Part-Time.
Application and Selection:
Due to continued growth, Tulgeen is recruiting Support Workers.
Support Workers are critical to the performance of our services as well as the fulfillment of our vision, purpose, and organisational goals. They recognise persons with disabilities' right to inclusion, involvement, and self-determination. Their personal values align with those of Tulgeen, and this is evident in their everyday work.
Support workers are directly responsible for supporting and developing the daily lives of people using our services.
Support workers help people achieve their goals by ensuring that they're at the centre of their decisions and that they're able to reach their desired outcomes in partnership with their family members and carers.
A support worker ensures that the people they support get the services they require in accordance with the National Disability Services standards and other relevant legislation. This includes advocating for their rights.
Short listed applicants will be scheduled for Interview and will be required to undertake a physiotherapist’s Functional Assessment as part of the selection process.
